Used Daewoo Dual Fuel Forklifts Surprise

Basic Fuel Types of Forklifts
Forklifts are powered lift trucks which are used in various kinds of industries to move heavy materials and items. Forklifts are durable and reliable machinery which are essential tools in warehouse and construction settings. Lift truck models vary depending on the type of work setting and the kind of fuel that is used to power the lift truck.

Electricity
Electric powered lift trucks are great for indoor environments, or in locations with limited ventilation as they produce no exhaust fumes. They are designed with industrial strength batteries. Since the electric forklift batteries should be charging, the worksite would need a charging station. The batteries are durable and can be re-charged up to 1,500 times before they need to be replaced. The charging station should be located in a ventilated area and include an acid spill kit and an emergency eyewash station.

Propane
Liquid propane powered forklifts are normally utilized in modern industrial applications since propane has several advantages over diesel and electric. Propane models are cleaner to use compared to diesel-powered units. There is no down time needed to recharge an industrial battery, and the cost of electricity is more than the cost of propane. A forklift propane tank can be refueled easily and quickly by changing out the empty tank with a full tank. Usually an off-site supplier refills the empty tank, making refueling very safe and efficient.

Gasoline and Gas
Diesel and gasoline lift trucks are the machinery of choice for outdoor applications and rough terrain. They are usually found on lumber yards and construction sites. Their disadvantages comprise odorous exhaust, relatively high fuel costs and fairly high maintenance requirements. Their benefits comprise a longer lifespan than other units and dependability in tough conditions. Gasoline and diesel units should be refueled at a supply station on site that meets health and safety policies.
