Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide various optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete all your needs, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. When accuracy and precision are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
Many attachments have been designed and made in order to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible. Winches, booms and rotating fork carriages allow the forklift to place materials in a more precise manner. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures in order to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the upper or center floors. New products and attachments are being engineered and developed all the time and would be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. For example, load-reach management devices can restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the extension of the boom and the angle of the boom with the safety limits. There is an essential lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
