End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are common in the material handling industry for their extreme flexibility. These machines have great performance characteristics that are somewhat comparable to sit-down electric lift truck models.
These forklift units are great for warehouse environments which have limited space. The space required to utilize these equipment are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck needs. These machinery are an excellent alternative for applications that require regular off and on access, because their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
The reach truck is a loading equipment used by a variety of businesses who maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and materials which are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent alternative for individuals who prefer to store pallets of products they do not need for immediate use in a way that is safe and efficient.
The basic reach truck model is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping forks which move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The blades additionally include a hydraulic setup which allows the operator to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not only provides more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic tines swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Typically, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide without difficulty, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
