The narrow aisle lift truck has been made to work in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the width of the aisle. Yale makes the single reach NR and double reach NDR models which are utilized for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks apply best-in-class ergonomics and offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has different stance and control handle configurations.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To meet a wider range of operations, there are many control handle configurations such as the aft stance, the choice of fore, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology provides fast lifting speeds along with strong deceleration and acceleration. It has been manufactured for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of loads transported in a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the mast rigidity and durability; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, and the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: Yale offers industry leading lowering speeds and these uploaded speeds greatly enhance the overall throughput and production.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a great function which maintains lower oil operating temperature whilst reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and thus really reduces energy. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the steer effort is actually technician adjustable so as to lessen operator exhaustion. In the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also called very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks. These equipment are designed for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors lift both the operator and the cargo to its required height. This height can be in excess of 30 feet. Similar with most turret trucks they are generally guided by rail or wire when used in very narrow aisle applications.
